Annual Appeal 2016

Thirty years have passed since Krishnamurti's death, and in this video we mark the occasion by offering a brief tour of some of the good work happening at Brockwood thirty years on. You will also learn about the remarkable offer to double donations in this special appeal year and hear from a number of Brockwood residents (including Inwoods headteacher, Mary-Ann Ridgway, art teacher, Jennifer Kowalewski, and Foundation archivist, Duncan Toms) and finally you will get to see a room seldom open to visitors, the Foundation archival vault.

Annual Report

The new Annual Report of the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Ltd provides some figures for the year 2014-2015, and a summary of the review that has occurred at Brockwood over the past year and the many changes that have resulted. Read the report here.

The Alumni Fund

The Alumni Fund is a restricted fund designed solely to assist the growing number of deserving young students wishing to join Brockwood whose families are unable to afford the necessary fees. More

Rigorous School Inspections

Brockwood Park School and Inwoods Small School underwent four continuous days of inspection by The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) resulting in grades varying from good to excellent in all fields. Read the full official report here

J. Krishnamurti, Silence and Music: A Maria João Pires Beethoven Concert at Cadogan Hall, in London.

Saturday 3rd September 2016, 7:30pm. The idea of a concert at a well-known hall in central London came about as a result of an informal discussion at the Krishnamurti Centre about J Krishnamurti`s work reaching a wider public, particularly those interested in music. Krishnamurti`s often spoke about music and its importance in education and in life. He said the beauty of music lay in the "silence between the notes". Aditi Mangaldas, a leader in Indian Classical dance opens the concert. Nigel North, one of the world’s foremost lutenists will play Bach Suite BWV 995. The concert will end with world renowned pianist Maria João Pires playing Beethoven’s last Piano Sonata, Op. 111. More
