War correspondent Anjan Sundaram's Talk at BPS

Krishnamurti school alumni, Anjan Sundaram, was Brockwood’s journalist in residence in the summer term. One of his contributions to school life was a fascinating talk on his journey to becoming an investigative journalist in some of the most dangerous countries in the world. As a Yale mathematics graduate, Anjan was offered a job at Goldman Sachs which he refused, deciding instead to go to the Democratic Republic of Congo to pursue a career as a foreign correspondent. Since then, Anjan has authored two books and written numerous articles for international publications. Anjan’s popular Brockwood journalism class resulted in many students becoming interested in the craft and publishing their work in the Spring/Summer issue of The Brockwood Observer. Anjan’s talk to Brockwood Park School can be viewed here.
