London Concert. Krishnamurti: Silence, Music and the Arts

With the aim of celebrating J. Krishnamurti’s teachings and introducing them to a wider audience an event in central London was held in September. The event featured Aditi Mangaldas, a leader in Indian classical dance, Nigel North, one of the world’s most distinguished lutenists and the world-renowned pianist Maria João Pires. Art from the German painter Siegward Sprotte and a bust of Krishnamurti by sculptor Antoine Bourdelle were exhibited. The evening was presented by BBC Radio 3 radio broadcaster Ian Skelly.
